The soul's direction. The home of this lineage.
The archetype of the North is Sewa Kinte, the royal hummingbird, who feeds only on the most beautiful flowers with the sweetest nectar. She teaches you to feed only on what truly nurtures you in this life, and to let the rest go. She teaches courage, the courage to let Spirit hold and guide you, as she trusts the Divine to provide for her, day to day and across her long migrations.
The work of the North is to surrender everything you learned in the South and the West, and to commit to a path of service to your soul's purpose. You receive your lineage stone here, and you are welcomed to take your place by the fire with the ancestors who have been holding space for you.
In the North, you come into right relationship with the teachings themselves rather than with any one teacher, and you begin to become your own teacher. Alice teaches her students to "put your teachers in the fire, including me." She is human, and somewhere along the way she will disappoint you. But that does not diminish the truth of what she has passed along from the ancestors.

A stone given to you, carrying a living connection to this tradition. It becomes the center of your mesa, a physical reminder that the lineage is present and alive within you, wherever you go.

Invites you to see the Earth from the perspective of your own personal star, connecting you to a new, more luminous way of being in the world. All who receive this rite are reaching ahead, pulling not only themselves but all of humanity forward.
